Lloyds Bank has announced a partnership with fintech startup ApTap to make managing household bills easier for mortgage customers. As part of this collaboration, ApTap’s bill management tool will be integrated into Lloyds Bank and Halifax’s mobile banking apps Home Wise and HelloHome. This tool will provide customers with information on potential savings by switching providers for services like broadband, energy, and mobile contracts, as well as the ability to implement these switches directly through the app.
Carolyne Gregory, head of product management (Homes) at Lloyds Banking Group, emphasized the importance of staying on top of regular household bills to save money, noting that the collaboration with ApTap aims to simplify this process for customers. ApTap, a graduate of Lloyds’ Launch innovation program, offers tools to help customers better manage their bills and save money.
